The Jamaica Association of Guidance Counsellors in Education facilitates the economic, intellectual and professional development of the Counsellor, in order to encourage efficient and effective delivery of counselling services to educational institutions and to the wider society – through its preventive, interventive, supportive and administrative components.

The national executive of the Jamaica Association of Guidance Counsellors in Education (JAGCE) thought it prudent to cancel the Annual Half Yearly Meeting, due to the prevailing adverse economic condition that is affecting the Association and its members.
